The purpose of the Los Coyotes School Site Council (SSC) is to use expertise and support to increase student achievement by:
• Developing and approving the school's Single Plan for Student Achievement
• Providing better services and programs for students
• Building capacity at the site level
• Increasing staff morale
The SSC will make recommendations to the principal in the areas of:
• Personnel selection
• Budget
• Reform models - Instruction and Intervention
• Professional Dvelopment
• Attendance and discipline (policies should be reviewed at least every 4 years)
Approval of the SSC is required for:
• Approval of the Single School Plan for student Achievement
• Expenditures of Lottery Funds
• Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF funds)
•Teacher working conditions/Collective Bargaining (Master Agreement Specified)
