Communication on Grading - COVID19

Dear NLMUSD Community,
As a reminder, all our schools will remain closed through the end of the 2019-2020 school year. This decision is in alignment with all public school districts in Los Angeles County.
Considering this pandemic and the limitations associated with distance learning, after consultation with our principals, teachers’ union, instructional leads, and district administration, we have decided to transition to a temporary grading policy for the second semester of 2019-2020. Open Enrollment Changes

The Norwalk-La Mirada Unified School District’s Open Enrollment policy is changing
These changes apply only to students who are applying for new permits. Students who currently have approved permits, will not be affected by these changes. Please also note that this change in policy eliminates year-round Open Enrollment. The only opportunity for your student to transfer will be during the Open Enrollment period.
