The purpose of ELAC is to provide parents of English learners a place to gain information, meet other parents, and voice any concerns regarding student academic progress. At the meeting, parents can also receive pertinent school and district information such as testing, attendance policies, parent conferences, and academic services, just to name a few. ELAC meetings are conducted in English with translation services available in Spanish and Korean. ELAC meetings are open to all parents and will be conducted 5 times a year.
