The Los Coyotes Gifted and Talented Education (GATE) program provides students with challenging curriculum and differentiated instruction that deepens their skills and understanding in specific areas. Offered within the school day are ~ accelerated mathematics with emphasis on productive thinking, original inquiry, and advanced content and enrichment classes (ASB/Leadership, Yearbook, Academic Pentathlon, Conversational Spanish, and Band) that help students discover particular strengths and talents to use and develop. In addition, enrichment activities are offered after-school throughout the year (i.e., Video Production, Scholastic Challenge, Drama, Dance, Journalism/Newspaper, Heraldry/Fencing, Book Club, Environmental Club, Campus Beautification, Strategic/Thinking Games, and Guitar)
